It is not about making yourself beautiful, that is something that was granted to you before the day you were conceived. I think that living life beautifully is simply seeing the beauty you are surrounded by each and every day. It is the small things, like enjoying the feel of rain on your skin instead of complaining that your feet got wet. It is going out and working for what you want instead of sitting around pouting because it didn’t fall into your lap. It is filling your lungs with air and being grateful to simply be alive. It is looking at each and every human being and realizing that they are all beautiful things. To live beautifully takes on the meaning of the cliché, “love your neighbour as yourself”. The key to living a truly beautiful life is love. There are countless amounts of stories, books, songs, novels, poems, art and other forms of self-expression written on the topic. As Mother Teresa said, “We can do no great things, just small things with great love. It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into doing it.” If you have lived a life full of love, you have lived beautifully.
